Eurosonic box office Grote Markt
Before going to the fist venue, you should go to the Eurosonic box office on the Grote Markt across from the Grand Theatre to get your wristband. In exchange for your ticket, you will receive the wristband, which you need to get into the venues. On Thursday and Friday the box office is open from 17.00.
Please come in time if you don’t want to miss the first show. All venues have a limited capacity. You are not allowed to bring photo, film or other recording equipment, drink, drugs, glass, cans or plastic bottles into the venue.
3FM bus; A free shuttlebus
On thursday and friday a free shuttlebus connects several locations. Thursday is stops at the Puddingfabriek, the USVA, the Stadsschouwburg and at the Vera. Friday the shuttlebus also does Academie Minerva and Simplon. The bus makes non-stop trips between 20.15 uur and 03.00.

COMING TO GRONINGEN
Groningen is situated ca 200 km northeast of Amsterdam. There are
direct trains leaving from Amsterdam Schiphol airport every hour,
taking around two hours to get there.
Flights
There is a regular service from most European capitals to Schiphol
Amsterdam with British Airways, Lufthansa, British Midlands, Air
France, KLM, Air Berlin, Easyjet, Jet2 and many other carriers. There
are also regular flights to Amsterdam from Clermont Ferrand (2 times
a day), Lyon (3 times a day), Nice (4 times a day), Bordeaux, Geneve,
Marseille and several larger cities in Scandinavia and the UK
TGV
There is a TGV/Thalys service between Paris and Schiphol Amsterdam,
leaving Paris every two hours. As the fastest railway system in Europe,
the Thalys brings you from Paris to Schiphol Amsterdam in less then
four hours!

By Car
Coming from Amsterdam / Drachten (A7, E22):
At the entrance of Groningen through Weg der Verenigde Naties, first
traffic light (Julianaplein) to the right. At the roundabout, take
the third exit to the right, drive through to the end, go to the
left. Go to the left again at the end of the Paterswoldseweg. Driving
straight through, you will pass the train station on your right hand
side; the parking garage of De Oosterpoort is a few hundred meters
down the road.
Coming from Assen / Zwolle / Utrecht (A28 / E232):
Entering Groningen through Julianaweg, first traffic light (Julianaplein),
straight on direction Central station (Emmaviaduct), then see
above.
Coming from Hoogezand / Winschoten (Germany) (A7, E22):
Entering Groningen through Europaweg, straight on under the viaduct
(junction Europaplein), keep to the left, traffic light (at the
Ikea / Shell gas station) to the left, next traffic light straight
on.
You’re now driving along the canal: on your left is the entrance
of the Oosterpoort, a little bit further you’ll find the
entrance of the parking garage.
From other directions:
Follow the signs in the direction of Central station then follow
the instructions for the direction Amsterdam / Drachten.
You can park your car in the car park next to De Oosterpoort.
Please note that the car park closes Sunday at 08.00
hours and is closed all day Sunday.
