Special focus on ItalyThis year’s Noorderslag Weekend features a special focus on Italy, organised in co-operation with foundation Arezzo Wave Italia (fAWI) and RAI Radio 2. Apart from several Italian acts showcasing, Noorderslag Seminar also features an Italian music industry presentation and a panel on the ins & outs of doing business with Italy.The following Italian acts performed during EuroSonic: Alex Neri, Disco Drive, Ephel Duath, The Hormonauts, Hot Gossip, Julie's Haircut, Linea 77, Luca Bacchetti, Marlene Kuntz, Mau Mau, Minimono, Mr. T-Bone and the Young Lions, Sonotheque, Sud Sound System and Bag a Riddim, Super Elastic Bubble Plastic, Tying Tiffany, Yo Yo Mundi and Zu.

On thursday 11 and friday 12 january the following acts performed at De Vestibule, De Kar, Cafe Koster and Buckshot: Flux, Krause, The Eelisabeth Knowhow, Them Apples, Awkward I, Vox von Braun, The Architect, Instil, dHuez & Dirty Loveletters, Martijn van der Zande, Black Atlantic, ADHD Spietmobiel, Element 5 and Vence.
Winners Grolsch Grote Prijs van Nederland at NoorderslagLucky Fonz III is one of this years winners of the biggest dutch music competition called the "Grolsch Grote Prijs van Nederland" He won the award in the category singer/songwriter. He performed at the Noorderslag festival on saturday, january 12.Blaxtar, award winner in the category Hiphop/RnB, was also performing at Noorderslag.  Lucky Fonz III - more...  Blaxtar
We've got the Girls and the Girls at EuroSonic!Not only the Meppel-based Dutch band the Girls played at EuroSonic 2007, there was also a band called the Girls from Bath, UK playing the festival! Oddly enough no females are present in either line-up..
