The Silent Disco is runned by a company that’s named after the initial radio frequency used in their first tour: 433fm.com. Starting with a few dozen headphones the company now has thousands of headphones, allowing several shows in different places at the same time.

The virtual radio station of 433fm presents non stop music. No jingles that poison your ears, but sheer music that make you dance. Apart from the few top40 songs that are good, 433fm offers the world in only the best of music. So far 433fm.com presents shows in Dutch, French, Spanish, German and Portuguese.

THE DOUBLE DIGITAL SILENT DISCO
A new element is The Double Digital Silent Disco. This has been experimented last year and now has an international tour. In The Double Digital Silent Disco two channels are presented. People can actually switch instantly between the music offered. In some festivals the DJ line up promises an interesting battle. The audience can rigorously choose to stay with the DJ or listen to the other music.

THE DJ’S
In The Double Digital Silent Disco two resident DJ’s are prominently present: NO DJ (Nico Okkerse) an DJ OD (Michael Minten). Okkerse is a former street musician, actor, theatre producer, culture politics advisor, singer, bartender, driver and bookkeeper. He has been involved with music since birth and active on and on since singing in a children’s church choir. NO DJ is known for his radical mixes and very special pick out of the widest range possible. Don't be surprised if you get the hardcore of early swing from the twenties or drum & bass of last month! Alternative, world, electro, hardstyle, gabber, Dixieland, he loves it all. His warm radio voice is famous and seduces to consider the wicked introductions offer.
Minten is a former radio producer, television director and editor, rock & roll band tour manager, rock band sound engineer and dub mixer. He has been involved in music since memory. DJ OD loves hard beats, but be prepared to meet his Balkan roots. DJ OD is a party master, he moves the crowd like no one else. His only handicap is his look-a-like: Ricky Martin.

SUMMER PROGRAMMING 2005
Active all year, this summer The Silent Disco tours all over Europe and even abroad. In Holland The Silent Disco is present for 50 days on the theatre festival De Parade and on many other events. Switzerland, Belgium, France, Spain, Germany and Canada festivals are programming the show. The Double Digital Silent Disco tours on Flippaud Festival (Italy), Glastonbury Festival (England), Dance Valley and Lowlands (Holland), Electric Picknick (Ireland) and others.
