‘Beats, brass & vocals’, dat zijn de muzikale uitdrukkingsmiddelen van Sâlt. Ofwel: ritmevast getrommel, vrolijk schetterend koper en trefzekere zang. Plus bizarre uitdossingen, danspasjes om te lachen en wijsjes die blijven hangen. De oorsprong van dit kwartet ligt in een theaterproject op het Oerol-festival. Vervolgens deden de mannen meer werk bij spectaculaire theatervoorstellingen, zoals de beroemde Dogtroep, maar je kunt ze ook gewoon op straat tegen komen, als je mazzel hebt. Bij Sâlt is het stoom afblazen geblazen, absoluut.

‘Beats, brass & vocals’ are the Sâlt’s musical means of expression. Steady percussion, exuberant horns and effective vocals. Plus bizarre outfits, hilarious dance moves and tunes that will cling to your mind. Founded during a theatre project on the Oeral festival, they have worked for numerous other spectacular theatre shows, as for instance the famous Dogtroep. However, if you’re lucky you might also bump into them playing on a street corner.
