Het is niet alleen dankzij zijn Portugese bloed dat Benny Rodrigues
zich op het mediterrane party-mekka Ibiza zo thuis voelt. Het ligt
ook aan zijn aanzienlijke draaikwaliteiten, die ook dichter bij huis,
op FFWD, Mysteryland, Innercity en Sensation, al menig voetje van
de vloer deden gaan. Want waar Benny Rodrigues zijn set met uiterst
dansbare, elastieken funky techhouse draait, daar is het bal. Maar
eenzijdig is hij niet, want af en toe zet hij het op een beuken met
felle, pompende techno.

More than his Portugese blood, it’s his superb DJ-skills that
make Benny Rodrigues feel at home in Mediterranean party heaven Ibiza.
On prestigious festivals closer to home (FFWD, Mysteryland, Innercity
and Sensation) he’d get the crowds blazing on his mix of utterly
danceable, elastic funky techhouse. And when the crowd really goes wild
he’ll smack them up with some fast, pumping techno.
