Trompetgestuurde Postrock
Een trompet in een rock-context, en dat twaalf jaar na de dood van Miles Davis. Bij We Vs. Death is die trompet een zachtjes fluisterende leidraad door een sfeervol postrock-landschap. They don’t mind if a song lasts eight minutes and they don’t need vocals. Unbelievable, coming from Utrecht. They’ve made a split-CD with the Belgian Tom Sweetlove, operating in the same field. Atmosphere triumphs over decibels, subtlety over muscles.
