Kaapverdisch-Nederlandse Diva
Rotterdam heeft een fikse Kaapverdische gemeenschap: vrolijke, warme en donkere mensen die zich ook muzikaal stevig roeren. Suzanna kwam naar Nederland toen ze vier was en in ons kikkerlandje begon ze als achttienjarige ook haar professionele zangcarrière. Inmiddels is ze geliefd in de wereldwijde Afro-Portugese gemeenschap. Haar mix van zouk en r&b raakt alom een snaar en zo doet ze prestigieuze optredens in uiteenlopende hoeken van Afrika en Europa. In de nabije toekomst hoopt ze meer elementen van de traditionele, akoestische Kaapverdische muziek te benutten. Het is zonde en onverstandig om wereldster in wording te missen.

Cape Verdean/Dutch Diva
In Rotterdam there’s a sizeable Cape Verdean community: cheerful, warm and dark people – and quite musical too. Suzanna came to the Netherlands at the age of four. Aged eighteen she started a professional singing career. By now she is a popular singer in the worldwide Afro-Portuguese community. With her successful mix of zouk and r&b she gives concerts all over Africa and Europe. In the near future she plans to incorporate more elements of traditional, acoustic Cape Verdean music in her work. You’ll never forgive yourself if you miss the show of such an upcoming star.
