nog aan toevoegen? Hun debuutalbum God Bless Miss Black America
bracht in het Engelse thuisland in ieder geval al heel wat tongen
en pennen in beweging. John Peel is fan, en dat wil wat zeggen.
Zelf willen ze ook wel eens wat zeggen, en dat klinkt dan ongeveer
zo: als verwante bands als Strokes en Black Rebel Motorcycle Club
het van stijl, mode en cool moeten hebben, dan blaast Miss Black
America zulke noties (,,lege dozen") met plezier aan flarden.
Zulk soort muziek dus.

point even further. What more can we say? Their debut God Bless
Miss Black America made quite an impression on media and audience.
John Peel is a fan, and that should say something. Miss Black America
say about themselves: if The Strokes and Black Rebel Motorcycle
Club depend on style, fashion and cool ('empty boxes'), Miss Black
America can blast them to pieces easily. It's that type of music.
